Simulation run: Time: left to right, top to bottom. The
physical evolution of two gaussian-tapered (center to edge), 10 kpc thick,
35 kpc diameter, plasma 'disks' initually spaced 80 kpc apart. Each disk
is driven by continuous gigaampere Birkeland currents meant to extend many
hundreds of megaparsecs into and wrapping around the universe. Because
of the computer time required to follow the electromagnetic-gravitation
evolution of the disks: the radio-x-ray burst stage near the beginning,
the peculiar morphologies mid-run, and the spiral configurations at termination
were unexpected and not fully discovered until post-processing the computer
dump data nearly a year after run initiation. The data dumps included all
energies, kinectic, electromagnetic, and radiation; particle distributions,
velocities, and momentums, in the three physical directions as time evolved.
Several simulations were made with two and more plasma disks, but two is the minimum to model a universe of a spaghetti of galactic-dimensioned current-carrying filaments (A. Peratt, Physics of the Plasma Universe, Springer-Verlag, 1992).
